By the time a child is 2, s/he is capable of experiencing a full range of emotions, but their ability to communicate is still limited.
They will cry for everything from the knife you are using to cut the vegetables, laptop, mop, electric switches, or whatnot.
Fortunately, for parents, a 2-year-old’s despair is generally short-lived, and can easily be distracted. Rather than shouting, hitting, scolding, or showing frustration a little distraction as little as soap bubbles/ or a sound (definitely not your Moble phon) can actually solve the problem.
When we talk about feelings, even with toddlers, we’re giving our children a set of important tools they’ll use for the rest of their lives.
